3.5 tons of Cotswold Limestone quarried from the top of Fish Hill in Broadway, Worcestershire by Natural English Stone was purchased by Pershore District Royal Naval Association to form the Commemorative Stone to honour all those who serve our Country in our armed forces. It was hauled by Vic Haines Transport Ltd of Pershore who kindly donated their services for free on this occasion as a mark of respect. The stone was put in place on Wednesday 20th April 2011 into the Commemorative Garden in Pershore's Abbey Park.
